A personal tribute to Heath

Heath........I was shocked and in denial when I was told that you had passed away...As another Australian I thought of you as a brother from another mother...You were my idol, my inspiration, my catalyst for wanting to go into the media industry, you were someone who I looked up to literally all of my life, someone who gave me hope each time I thought I was never good enough...My dream was to actually meet you in person, to make friends and to share our stories and although I now know that will never happen I am sure one day we will meet at the doors of heaven....... You were everything that I wanted to be and more...And not forgetting that you are the most gorgeous man to ever walk our planet..

Although I never met you, a part of you will always live on in me
I know that you can hear me now as God will let you see how many peoples lives you have touched
and to hear our many sorrows and mourn for the death of our brother....
You have been a big influence not only on Australia, your home
But also to the world who have watched you grow from a teen, to a sex symbol and into a man
Forever will your legacy be known, Forever will you be a part of me
I will sorely miss you...
